Merci Jon-Henri!

We are so glad that we've made some 'virtual' friends in FL!

Our boat is just under 29 feet long and yes, it's a small cabin cruiser in style. It's actually an ex rental boat from Le Boat, which rents canal boats all over France, Great Britain and several other European countries. If you are willing to drive your own boat it's much more economical than going as a passenger.

Take care, H&K

hi guys.
what a great site. i found you via lynn at southern fried french. now several of us read your blog at our local mother earth coffe shop here in lake worth fla. i admire your stamina opening and closing all those locks no need for a gym-no wonder you need a few cocktails at the end of the day. i like your photo-they they make a great coffee table book. the little manor house perched on the edge of the canal in moret must have quite a history. my cousin had an old chateau near luxembourg that she gave to a family member and is now open to the public. just how large is the Apres Ski? by descreption is seems like a small cabin cruiser. i have looked up online some of the canal boats that take passengers and i find $3k a week a bit expensive..it seems you could rent one for less. I took a cruise down the turkish coast a few years back for 11 day for much less. well enough prattle from me i lookforward to your next blog.
best regards, jon-henri (aka Hampton)
